AMDZone propone un altro articolo dedicato all'overclock dei Venice

AMDZone ha provato in overclock un Venice 3200+, raggiungendo i 2.75GHz. Il risultato non è sbalorditivo visto il vcore usato, ma fa ben sperare per il futuro.

"When we tested the 3500+ we had pretty good success with a 25% overclock to 2.75GHz, and a stable 22.5% overclock to 2.7GHz. Now with the 3200+ we were able to reach the same speeds of 2.75GHz or a 37.5% overclock, and a 2.7GHz or 35% overclock with stability. This would point to a top MHz for initial Venice cores with mid range cooling at around 2.7GHz to 2.8GHz. Of course you enjoy the advantages of SSE3, better memory compatibility, and the low operating temperature which is what we really love. The 3200+ when overclocked also enjoys a better top memory bandwidth score, and a lower price."
